APPRENTICESHIP CONCEPT
We prepare you for the future. We will grant you practical skills and knowledge so that you can securely and reliably master all professional requirements later. As a family-owned company, we highly value a good apprenticeship - you will encounter our demonstrated feeling of community and our perception as a "FRECH family" from the very first day. We accept responsibility and don't leave you high and dry: trainers and apprenticeship staff who are highly qualified, both technically and personally, will explain to you exactly what it is you need to do.

One example is a two-week social internship at a social services/welfare institution at the end of the 1st apprenticeship year. During the internship, you will support the workers on site in their everyday tasks. You will receive valuable insight into the daily process and will experience first-hand what life can have in store. Learning about other ways of living, experiencing community and accepting social responsibility is an embedded component of the apprenticeship and a first great challenge. The experience teaches that openness, respect and mindfulness in interacting with each other are a basic prerequisite of life. We work with the „Open Up!“ project of mehrwert – Agentur für Soziales Lernen gGmbH.
Another is the SchaffTag ("day of action") of the Stetten deaconry, where you will volunteer your time and labor for people with handicaps and participate in the group of apprentices working on a social project for the Diakonie Stetten.

Active together
Our apprenticeship starts with the annual introductory week, which is primarily about getting to know each other. You will receive important information all about the apprenticeship and the company and there will be workshops on a variety of topics. A team-building event at the Plochingen ropes course makes the week complete.
The barbecue party organized by our apprentices at the end of an apprenticeship year is always a highlight, to which we also invite the new apprentices. Getting to know each other and communicating are the focus before starting the apprenticeship.
Compensation and training time
In addition to apprenticeship pay, you will also receive vacation and holiday pay, as well as a travel expenses allowance. Otherwise, you can expect a 35-hour week, a total of 30 days vacation and attractive flex time regulations.

We want to awaken curiosity in Oskar Frech and promote talent! We support youngsters from kindergarten to university entrance exams. We maintain a long-term partnership with the Versöhnungskindergarten Schorndorf and awaken curiosity in our "Techn-OF-lino" project.
Our educational partners are the Gottlieb-Daimler-Realschule Schorndorf, the Lehenbachschule Winterbach, the Realschule Remshalden, the Schulzentrum Rudersberg and the Kastell-Realschule in Welzheim. We offer a diverse program for students, such as teaching staff that support you all the way through.
Responsible conduct
We are deeply rooted in the region and particularly connected to Schorndorf and the people who live here. Naturally, we are committed to the areas of education, youth culture and sport.
We support the Forscherfabrik Schorndorf financially and offer school vacation courses for students in collaboration with the Forscherfabrik. Every two years, we award the technology prize for mechatronics at the technical high school of the Grafenbergschule in Schorndorf
We focus on popular sport and support events, clubs and teams such as TV Weiler and SG Schorndorf.
