Hot Chamber Diecasting Machines

With decades of experience and innovations in the manufacture of hot chamber diecasting machines, Frech has developed a unique knowledge of the process technology. With our hot chamber technology we are able to fulfil all the requirements of the diecasting market. Our machines can produce functional parts with the tightest tolerances as well as decorative parts with a very high surface quality

The lower specific casting pressure in hot chamber diecasting offer the economic advantage of machines with a lower locking force being used for faster and less costly production.

The following machine series are available:

Hybrid Hot Chamber Diecasting Machine for Zinc or Magnesium (DAM/DAW Hybrid)

The hybrid hot chamber diecasting machine unifies the advantages of the hydraulic with those of the electrically driven die casting machine.

  • Ideal production of functional parts within the tightest tolerances, and with the highest demands for wall thickness and surface quality.
  • The motorised axes work in coordination can be synchronised or operated simultaneously – for the ultimate in speed, accuracy and precise repeatability. These strengths are of great importance in a fully automated die casting machine cell.
  • The lower noise emissions and energy-savings of the hybrid machine are extremely beneficial with the current demand for lower stress levels and power consumption in the workplace

Magnesium Hot Chamber Diecasting Machines (DAM-F)

Frech is renowned for ground breaking technical developments. We do not copy others. We innovate! Frech built the very first hot chamber diecasting machine for magnesium in the world in 1966 and ever since, we have proven our capabilities in manufacturing hot chamber machines with locking forces up to 9.300 kN:

  • Continuous development of faster injection units
  • Inductive nozzle and gooseneck heating for a stable diecasting process
  • In house furnace-technology for the feeding, melting and holding of magnesium
