Cold Chamber Diecasting Machines
Frech offers cold-chamber diecasting machines with locking forces between 2,750 kN and 52,000 kN, used for casting smaller purchased parts as well as engine blocks and transmission housings, not to mention chassis and body components made from aluminium or magnesium alloys. Thanks to its patented Vacural technology, Frech is a world leader in manufacturing engineering for lightweight designs.
For special requirements, we are at your disposal for any questions.

The following machine series are available:
DAK 250 - 1600
Frech cold chamber technology is setting trends for pressure tight
and porosity free diecast objects. In close cooperation with our
customers we have specially developed the M-series machine range
to suit the growing demands of the market.
The advantages of the modular Frech cold chamber M-series machine
range are:
- Increased productivity through faster cycle-times
- Best possible casting quality with the highest injection speeds
- Complete flexibility for retrofits and automation due to the
modular design
- Combination possibilities for different shot ends and locking-units
for the most optimised process
- Optional L-version available with even larger machine platens
- Service-friendly with good access to all areas and the ability
for remote service
- High durability and lifetime due to stable and robust machine
construction
The modular Frech cold chamber M-series machine range is available
in locking-forces from nominal 2,500 kN up to 16,000 kN.

Vacural Technologie
The patented Vacural process is a tried-and-trusted method that has been used for many years to produce castings with an extremely low level of gas and oxide inclusions. The process allows the reliable production of
- highly ductile structural and chassis components
- thin-walled, weldable chassis components
- coatable surface parts
The extremely low level of gas inclusions in castings produced using VACURAL technology enables the mechanical properties of the part to be changed by means of heat treatment after casting.
In this way it is possible to ensure high static and dynamic stability as well as high ductility.
